4.   REFLECT ON THE PROCESS:  Your Online Journal

A.  Copy & paste the prompts & your responses for question #3 above into the journal.

B.  Respond to the following questions in your Journal.  Please don't copy the questions or number the answers!  Then, copy and paste your responses in the box below, for backup.
    1. CareerZone asked you to approach your career search from 3 different but related perspectives (Interest Profiler, Explore Careers, & Future Hopes).  Which of the 3 approaches produced the most interesting career suggestions for you?  Why?
    2. How satisfied are you with the careers that CareerZone's exercises suggested for you? Are there careers you're interested in that did not come up on any of the 3 search exercises?  If so, why do you think they did not come up?
    3. Did you get a chance to explore any of the NYS college programs that prepare for the careers you looked into?  What did you find out?
    4. The CareerZone surveys are intended for you, a NYS high school student.  Overall, would you recommend any or all of the 3 CareerZone surveys you have taken?  Who might benefit?  Who might not benefit?  What would improve the survey process to make it more effective for other high school students?
